JOB DESCRIPTION
- Clean assigned guest rooms according to standards established by the Hotel. It involves, but not limited to, making the bed, dusting the room and furniture, replenishing the guest room and bath supplies, cleaning the bathroom, vacuuming the carpet.
- Whilst cleaning the room, verify that all is in proper condition and order of functioning and reports to the Supervisor any items that need repair.
- Clean corridors and floor public areas around guest rooms assigned. Also maintain cleanliness of equipment and pantries.
- Keep informed of hotel products and service knowledge to answer guest questions.
- Respond to any inquiries and requests from visitors in a kind and considerate way, take the necessary action, or, if necessary, forward the issues to the proper parties. It could be giving out information or an extra item, like a towel.
- Note pertinent information for their records and potential future questions on their assignment sheets. To guarantee consistency and visitor pleasure, report any unique circumstances, special attention guests, or occurrences that require follow-up at the end of your shift.
- Check the room’s physical condition and notify the order taker of any inconsistencies.
- Report lost and found items right away to the supervisor and order taker, and work with them to arrange when to bring things down.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in luxury hotels
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
