JOB DESCRIPTION
- Receive each guest call in a professional and friendly manner.
- Ensure guests are greeted by name upon calling as per IHG Standards.
- Maintain effective communication with all related department to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Handle every query in a polite and courteous manner and exceed guest expectations.
- Sends work orders to the right department and employees, coordinates and assigns, and makes sure the allocated tasks are finished on schedule and with priority.
- Keep yourself informed about local services and the hotel.
- Using the PMS system, be informed about the visitor profile.
- Make sure the switchboard is operating correctly so that internal and external calls may be transferred quickly and effectively.
- Preserve each visitor’s privacy by making sure that no personal information is shared.
- Show that you fully comprehend the hotel’s rules, regulations, and service expectations. You should also be fully informed on the hotel’s amenities and events.
- Fluency in English: Speaking another language would be beneficial.
REQUIREMENTS
Ideally, you’ll have a minimum of 1-year experience in the similar role in a four or five-star hotel or comparable industry, ability to demonstrate working with and engaging teams from different cultures, strong verbal and written communication skills along with being quality oriented with focus on details, high performance standards, able to multi-task & meet deadlines and technical proficiency in related software preferable.
