JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Acts primarily in direct defence of life and company’s property by detecting, investigating, resolving and reporting any security breaches or incidents to maintain a secure environment in accordance with company’s policies and procedures.

2. Briefs the security team at the beginning of a new shift to update them on developments since the last shift and shares information about any security concerns.

3. Patrols randomly or regularly company premises and perimeter (gates, doors, windows, parking, etc.) to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security.

4. Reports unlawful activities observed during routine patrols such as theft, or vandalism to law enforcement parties for further action.

5. Monitors and controls access of employees, visitors and vehicles against theft, hazards, or vandalism and blocks areas when needed

6. Arrests offenders and trespassers and contacts the police when they see someone not permitted. initiates fire department calls in the event of an emergency, such as a fire.

7. Keeps an eye on the daily activity report for any events or anomalies, such as theft, property or equipment damage, the presence of unauthorized individuals, or suspicious materials.

8. Alerts people to rule violations and arrests or evicts those who violate the rules.

9. Verifies that all CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and detection/emergency equipment are operating correctly and notifies management of any malfunctions.

10. Keeps an eye on and modifies the controls that govern building systems, such air conditioning, and notifies the Facilities Management Department of any problems.
