JOB DESCRIPTION

• Incoming Inspection of parts and components as per Rosemount parts Inspection plan and customer approved drawing
• Initiation of Material review
• Manage processes to quarantine, review, and disposition nonconforming material
• Actively participating in Analyzing Root cause of the issue with the supplier
• After the floor is returned, check the quality of the Interco component parts and report on the inbound quality.
• Analysis of discarded parts from external suppliers to comprehend component and process failure
• Assist SPE with the direct sourcing process inspection

   

• Engage fully in the process improvement team.
• Use a master instrument to verify the instruments’ calibration internally.
• Maintain all inspection instruments in a preventative manner.
• Choosing a calibration service provider for equipment and determining the necessary calibrations
• Following the inspection plan, conducting project inspections at the supplier site and at the hub
• assisting the CC team in closing the inspection’s consumer remarks
• Taking an active role in updating procedures linked to quality
• E-metrology and equipment calibration procedure updates
• Handling NC and product hold
• Observe safety precautions and notify supervisors of any dangerous situations.
• Respect the organization’s environmental, health, and safety regulations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Technical Diploma or General Equivalency Degree
• 2 to 3 years of functional experience
• Proficient in reading and interpreting Drawings
• Experience with Root Cause Analysis tools

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Knowledgeable in ASTM/ASME standards
• ISO 9001 knowledge
• Experience in performing mechanical and Electrical parts inspection
• Knowledge on Rosemount products
