JOB DESCRIPTION
- Complying to HSE & Quality policy. Effectively participate in HSE and Quality programs and training as assigned.
- Understanding and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and procedures.
- Identifying and using measuring equipment needed to verify requirements.
- In charge of carrying out visual, dimensional, and inspection of the components needed for assembly and testing.
- confirming that all procedures and documentation are complete.
- Completing and keeping up with calibration, inspection logs, and inspection records.
- launching non-conformance reports for any assemblies, subassemblies, parts, and products that don’t meet specifications.
- providing their plant with high-quality culture.
- working on RCA, corrective measures, and continuous improvement in conjunction with production engineering and site quality.
- Using databases and systems from Baker Hughes’ management system (SAP, BHOS, etc.)
- may take part in root cause analysis, kaizens, material review boards, and quality audits.
- It could be necessary to calibrate or program inspection equipment.
REQUIREMENTS
- Have diploma in Mechanical or relevant technical education.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality inspection and documentation.
- Have experience with QMS Audits
- Be detail-oriented with good written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate a thorough and logical approach to proactively solving complex problems.
