JOB DESCRIPTION

Respond and attend to guest repair requests. Communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues. Perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment, including cleaning and lubrication. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines. Carry equipment (e.g., tools, radio). Locate, identify, and operate all building utility shut-offs and equipment shut-off valves. Keep track of your maintenance inventory and place orders for supplies and parts as needed. Use approved communication programs and standards to share daily activities and issues with the other shifts. Exhibit fundamental understanding or the capacity to learn in the following areas: refrigeration and air conditioning; electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls; carpentry and finishing skills; kitchenware; automobiles; energy conservation; and/or general construction. Prepare the surface, paint, fix minor drywall and wood trim issues, change lightbulbs and air conditioner filters, and thoroughly clean the painting or repair area.
