JOB DESCRIPTION

•  Coordinate and manage logistics operations for export and import shipments via air and sea.
•  Develop and maintain relationships with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customs agents to ensure efficient execution of logistics processes.
•  Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery, resolving any issues that arise during transit.
• Create and handle shipment documentation, such as invoices, bills of lading, and paperwork for customs clearance.
• To cut expenses and boost productivity, assess and optimize shipping routes and transportation strategies.
• Work together with both internal and external teams to make sure that logistics needs are satisfied.
• Keep thorough records of all inventory control and logistics operations.
• To maintain compliance and streamline operations, stay current on industry developments, laws, and best practices.

REQUIREMENTS

– Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain management.
– Strong knowledge of import and export regulations, customs procedures, and logistics operations.
– Proficiency in logistics software – Calogi, Dubai Trade
– Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address logistics challenges effectively.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
