JOB DESCRIPTION

  • You will greatly contribute to the processes and activities that create and promote the Dorchester Collection culture, values and bring the Company Philosophy “We Care” to life ensuring our employees and guests receive nothing but the best experience.
  • You will create real connections and meaningful relationships by utilizing collective intelligence from all sources.
  • Throughout the day, our staff of hosts is in charge of representing the hotel. This will entail giving guests a tour, completing everyday tasks quickly and effectively, being sympathetic, and keeping the needs of the guests first. All of this is done to guarantee that our visitors get the greatest possible experience.
  • Our visitors occasionally have unique needs and even noteworthy events. With the help of our creative team, our host team handles the majority of these requests.
  • Every day, we are guided by our core values: passion, personality, respect, teamwork, and creativity. You will have the chance to make these a reality and go on building our history as a front desk agent (host).

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • You’ll bring your unique personality and passion to the role and the team.
  • You have high empathy and guest centricity. Resilient.
  • You are confident, well spoken, generous and you can manage multiple relationships and tasks.
  • You can share your passion about the brand. You are curious and culturally aware.
  • You are a problem solver and you always go above and beyond.
  • Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. Our Front Desk Agent must communicate with other departments and extended hotel team in order to ensure the alignment remains.
  • English is the primary language used in our hotel. You can comfortably communicate in this language. Additional languages are an advantage.
  • You will have previous experience in Front Desk or in Guest Relations.
  • You have a knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics, Opera, HotSOS, Spa Soft.
