JOB DESCRIPTION
- Deliver efficient, courteous, and prompt service to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction from the moment guests arrive until their departure.
- Personally greet guests by name if known, escorting them to their rooms to create a sense of anticipation and welcome.
- Assist guests with any questions or requests pertaining to hotel activities while conducting in-room and hotel familiarization.
- To effectively answer questions from guests, stay up to date on hotel information and area services, such as operating hours, specials, events, activities, and other pertinent details.
- To make informed decisions, stay informed about daily rate and occupancy levels.
- Use computerized front office solutions to ensure accurate handling of all incidental charges while adhering to front desk cashiering guidelines.
- From check-in to check-out, handle accounts with ease, making sure that any incidental costs are posted accurately.
- Don’t share any guest information to protect their privacy.
- Exhibit a deep comprehension of the hotel’s rules, practices, and service expectations. You should also be well-versed in the hotel’s amenities and current affairs.
