JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Transaction Handling: Process cash, cheque, and digital payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain and update transaction records in the financial system.
  • Customer interaction: Make sure customers have a good experience by answering their questions about payments.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile cash registers every day and settle any inconsistencies.
  • Receipt Management: Provide clients with receipts and keep accurate records for auditing purposes.
  • Compliance: Adhere to company financial policies and regulatory standards during transactions.
  • Reporting: Produce transaction reports for management review on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Support Functions: Provide administrative assistance to the financial team as needed.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional accounting or finance qualifications are a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years as a cashier or in a similar financial role.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using POS systems and accounting software.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in handling transactions and records.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Integrity: High level of honesty and professionalism in handling financial matters.
  • Organization: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
