JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Daily reconciliation of store takings & reporting.
  • Forex reconciliation and monitoring of exchange rates.
  • Cheques collection and control.
  • Tally of safe fund daily.
  • Reconciliation of credit cards.
  • Reconciliation and redemption of gift vouchers.
  • banking for different kinds of tenders.
  • Management of Store Petty Cash.
  • Make sure that the daily, weekly, and monthly procedures are followed with quality, and that reports are submitted on time.
  • Examine cases of Till Discrepancy and report them to the Group Leader of the Cash Office and the appropriate departments for additional action.
  • Give both internal and external clients outstanding customer service with regard to petty cash, quotations, LPOs, and payments.
  • Assure ongoing adherence to the company’s SOPs and IKEA/AL Futtaim instructions in cash office operations.

 

REQUIREMENTS

Required skills to be successful

  • Good Knowledge of accounting & Cash handeling.
  • Advanced computer literacy
  • Advanced proficiency of MS Office Excel and data management tools.

 

What equips you for the role

  • 2-3 years retail cash handling experience, finance & accounting experience preferred
  • Very good command of English language.
  • Good command of Arabic language is preferred.
