JOB DESCRIPTION
Install, maintain, perform preventative maintenance on, and recommend replacement of tools, appliances, and equipment. Calibrate all controls, gauges, meters, etc. Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves. As needed, mark, order, and stock supplies and parts. Keep track of purchase orders and inventory. Examine any machinery, tools, or equipment. Computers are used to enter and find work-related information. Use a power lift. Finish the life safety checklist, which includes the generator and fire pump run tests. Examine the alarm systems and fire sprinkler valves. Contribute to the creation of catastrophe response plans. Answer and handle requests for repairs from visitors.
REQUIREMENTS
Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
Supervisory Experience: At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
License or Certification: None
