JOB DESCRIPTION
- Set up and adjust flexographic printing presses for each print job based on job specifications.
- Monitor and adjust printing press settings such as ink density, speed, and pressure to ensure high-quality output.
- Throughout production, make routine checks for registration, color accuracy, and print quality.
- Investigate and fix any printing press-related difficulties, such as paper jams, inconsistent ink, or alignment concerns.
- To avoid downtime and guarantee peak performance, give the press regular maintenance and cleaning.
- To guarantee a secure workplace and satisfy client expectations, follow safety and quality control protocols.
- In order to resolve any problems and increase process effectiveness, collaborate closely with the production and quality control teams.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade certification in printing or a related field is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience as a Flexographic Printing Operator or in a similar printing role.
REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge of flexographic printing processes, equipment, and materials.
- Familiarity with various substrates, inks, and coating processes used in flexographic printing.
- Strong attention to detail, with an ability to detect and address print defects.
- Good troubleshooting skills and the ability to make adjustments quickly to maintain production schedules.
- Ability to work with high-volume printing equipment while maintaining safety standards.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
