JOB DESCRIPTION
- Reporting to import team leader on day to day shipments.
- Co-ordinating with clients, DSV network and DSV Vendors.
- Routing shipments from inside sales and updating customers.
- Manage shipments of important and corporate accounts for import and cross-trade.
- coordinating vessel planning with co-loaders and the shipping line.
- Keep an eye on the shared folder every day.
- Utilize our internal system and intercompany invoices to manage open jobs by following up frequently.
- helping the team leader oversee the operations and documentation group as a whole.
- Give the customer access to all DSV goods and services, identify shipments for which PS needs to be claimed, etc.
- Find quality leads from new, inactive, and current clients, then give them to the operations manager.
- When required, take charge of visits from outside clients.
- Follow up on invoicing with the vendor, co-loaders, and liners.
- Reaching predetermined KPIs
- For freight arriving from other places, follow up with other branches.
- additional duties that management has delegated.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience of 3 years working in a customer service role in freight forwarding industry.
- A Bachelor’s degree
- Customer service oriented and result driven.
- Good communication, influencing and organization skills.
- Must be able to take ownership of problems and provide solutions to clients in a timely manner.
- Ability to handle customer complaints effectively and professionally within a timely manner
- Good knowledge of UAE import procedures.
- Excellent team player and support team as and when required.
- Ability to define requirements, analyse facts, and determine relevant solutions/actions to be taken.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
