JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for providing the support on Project Management activities to the UZ1.0MMBD Project team throughout all phases of project execution on management matters related to the allocated portions of the 1.0MMBD Project scope.

Responsible for delivery of all systems (equipment & facilities) from design to hand over meeting all Project objectives.

Works in close co-ordination with PMT Project Manager for the supervision of the Integrated Project Management Team to ensure that the project objectives are meet. Reports regularly to the PMT Project Manager on Project status, critical issues and areas of concern that may affect performance targets and Project objectives.

ensures that the project complies with HSE standards, meets HSE performance goals at every stage, and collaborates with UZ1.0MMBD HSE to make sure contractors follow company HSE policies, procedures, rules, and regulations while the project is being carried out.

oversees the construction, fabrication, and commissioning teams to guarantee integration, optimal performance, efficient goal-setting, and workload prioritization.

oversees the 1.0MMBD Contractor’s operations to make that the project is carried out in compliance with the contract, the company’s technical specifications, and the terms of the agreement.

keeps an eye on the contractor’s attempts to manage interfaces with other operating companies, ADNOC Offshore Groups/Departments, and other EPC Contractors, and offers assistance as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent.

Good understanding of Project management elements and standards including Contract terms and conditions

20 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas Industry (Upstream) or other related industrial experience

At least 8-10 years in Project Management handling logically inter-related major projects

Prior experience of working with EPC Contractors / Operating Company /Engineering consultants

Good knowledge of engineering, fabrication, construction, planning, resource allocation, Contract management and administrative functions.

Brownfield, modular and offshore project experience preferred during EPC stage.

Gas Compression and dehydration experience preferred.

Good knowledge of international codes and standards related to the oil and gas industry.

Fluency in English with good communication skills.

Computer literate.
