JOB DESCRIPTION

• Lead the development of forecast demand and schedule analyses for airport planning studies.
• Conduct capacity and demand assessments using industry-standard tools and guidelines.
• Develop terminal and airfield spatial requirements, creating phased development plans for infrastructure and facilities.
• Generate terminal planning concepts and utilize passenger flow simulation modelling to assess and improve designs.
• Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and technical documentation to communicate complex planning ideas to stakeholders.
• Oversee the creation of airfield capacity studies, terminal planning, and airport master plans.
• Perform research on operational planning, capacity evaluations, and demand predictions.
• Create plans for the progressive construction of airfields, terminals, and associated facilities.
• For airport planning, follow industry-standard procedures such as ICAO rules and IATA’s Airport Development Reference Manual (ADRM).
• Create and deliver technical documentation, presentations, and planning reports to stakeholders and clients.
• To guarantee adherence to global standards, coordinate with airlines, airport operators, regulatory bodies, and other interested parties.
• To increase the efficiency of landside and terminal design, do simulation modeling and passenger flow analysis.
• Offer professional advice on innovation and sustainability tactics for airport construction and planning.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Airport Planning, Transportation Planning, Aviation Management, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in airport planning within a consulting environment, airport operator, or airline.
• Strong expertise in airport master planning, capacity analysis, and feasibility studies for airport expansion projects.
• Proficiency in airport planning tools such as CAST, ArcGIS, AviPLAN, TransCAD, AutoCAD, BIM, or GIS software.
• Experience in passenger flow simulation modelling and airfield operational planning.
