JOB DESCRIPTION
Monitoring Access:
- Ensure that only authorized personnel and visitors enter the school premises.
- Monitor entrances and exits to prevent unauthorized access.
- Check identification and verify the purpose of any visitors or contractors on school property.
Patrolling:
- Regularly patrol school grounds, including hallways, parking lots, and outdoor areas.
- Report and investigate any suspicious activity or behavior around the premises.
- Ensure all doors and windows are secure and report any maintenance or security issues.
Emergency Response:
- Respond promptly to emergencies such as fire alarms, medical emergencies, or security incidents.
- Assist in evacuations or lockdowns during emergency situations.
- Work with local authorities, such as police or fire departments, when needed.
Surveillance:
To spot any security threats, keep an eye on security systems and surveillance cameras.
Notify the proper staff of any system problems or malfunctions.
Communication between Staff and Students:
To discourage such threats and advance safety, keep a visible and friendly presence around the campus.
Give directions and help to visitors, employees, and students as needed.
To promote a feeling of security and trust, cultivate good relationships with faculty, staff, and students.
Reporting incidents:
Any accidents, security issues, or compromises to the school’s safety should be noted and reported.
Write thorough reports of all everyday activities as well as any oddities.
Preventive Actions:
Help in the implementation and enforcement of school safety regulations, which includes keeping an eye on student conduct and reporting infractions.
Participate in safety awareness and drills, including fire
