JOB DESCRIPTION

• Use Agile engineering practices and various software and mobile development technologies to rapidly develop creative and efficient solutions that enhance the client customer and employee experience
• Work in a team to craft clear user stories, design tests for prototypes and products, and continuously deliver product enhancements
• Liaise with other teams within and outside the Digital unit to negotiate timelines, deliverables and dependencies
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Designers, and team members to identify and socialize product and delivery risks
• Encourage and set an example for Agile behavior and best practices in engineering processes, making sure other team members do the same.
• Establish and maintain expectations around delivery methods and timetables by discussing Agile procedures with business stakeholders.
• Take ownership of and promote automation best practices, such as continuous integration and deployment. Technical Competencies, Technical Knowledge, and Specialized Skills This position requires:
• consistently produces code that is ready for production, easily testable, understandable by other developers, and takes errors and edge cases with account. Recognizes when comments are appropriate, but has a leaning for self-documenting code. recognizes holes using quality metrics and is aware of their team’s testing methodology. collaborates with their team to suggest solutions that adhere to the testing pyramid and recognized testing frameworks.

REQUIREMENTS

5+ years of software development experience with strong java/jee/spring development frameworks.
3+ years of experience in designing distributed systems.
