JOB DESCRIPTION
The person makes certain that the encoder receives accurate invoices and Portable Data Terminals (PDTs), and accurately scans supplier barcodes. They perform manual checks for Local Purchase Order (LPO) items with less products than specified, as well as blind checks to prevent shrinkage and inconsistencies. In accordance with product guidelines, goods are carefully inspected for quantity, quality, and expiration. A log is kept that includes Return to Supplier/Vendor Items (RTS/RTV). Shortages are noted and tagged for approval by a supervisor. They carry out SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and brand guidelines, as well as inventory and stock takes when necessary. They also uphold a very high degree of personal hygiene, which includes dressing appropriately and keeping their appearance tidy.
REQUIREMENTS
