JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Source quotations from suppliers to ensure purchases are made in the best interest of the company
  • Process assigned PR’s
  • carries out market research, examining the rates of rival hotels and comparing them to those of existing suppliers to guarantee competitiveness.
  • Keep vendor profile files up to date and maintain them in accordance with CSR, ISO 14000, ISO 22000, and SFSMS criteria.
  • Create reports on a weekly or monthly basis.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Communicates and writes with fluency in English
  • Is able to communicate with customers effectively and professionally
  • Preferably has experience working in a Purchasing Department of a 5* luxury international hotel
  • Has good organisational skills
  • Is a critical thinker and a problem-solver
  • Is knowledgeable about Microsoft Office, CheckSCM or any supply chain management system
