Project Accountant / Analyst Job in Dubai UAE

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Ensure that all accounting entries are prepared accurately and in line with corporate deadlines.
• Ensure invoices are prepared in a timely manner and in accordance with the commercial terms of the contract.
• Ensure cashflow is managed accurately and effectively.
• figuring out cost and billing rates and analyzing margins in order to control profitability.
• yearly plan and quarterly reforecast preparation in collaboration with the finance and business management teams.
• Prioritize cash collection, DSO optimization, and unbilled item minimization while making sure these parts of the balance sheet are properly reconciled, analyzed, and controlled.
• To find trends, patterns, and abnormalities in financial data, gather, examine, and evaluate information from a variety of sources.
• Create and manage spreadsheets, databases, and other tools for effectively managing and organizing financial data.
• Work together with cross-functional teams to collect pertinent data and guarantee that analyses are accurate and comprehensive.
• To successfully convey financial insights, create visually appealing dashboards, reports, and presentations.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters (Engineering / Finance / Accounting)
• CIMA / ACCA or equivalent (Preferable)
• Data Analytics / Language Certifications

Knowledge, skills and experience:

• 3 years financial analysis experience
• Proficient user of Excel
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Good commercial acumen
• Good systems experience (e.g. Oracle)
• Data Analytics skillset
