JOB DESCRIPTION
- Develop data driven strategies to drive the growth of Spotify users and subscribers
- Identify new user growth levers for multiple markets in South Asia, Middle East and Africa and use experimentation to help drive that growth
- Develop and disseminate persuasive models and recommendations that enhance our user message, channel optimization, and product offering.
- Create scalable dashboards and data pipelines to make measuring business success easier.
- Collaborate closely with company partners to comprehend the changes they are bringing about and assist them in finding new growth prospects.
- Create and execute thorough tests, ensuring that we monitor all pertinent KPIs and that we are learning as we go.
- Deliver your results to high-level partners, impacting our company’s direction.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics or a similar field
- Minimum of 1+ of professional experience synthesizing insights from data using tools such as Python/R, SQL. Experience with distributed systems (Redshift, Hadoop, BigQuery)is a plus
REQUIREMENTS
- Intellectually curious, creative, and diligent – you enjoy thinking about the business as much as the data!
- Have experience collaborating with partners to measure the impact of business/marketing initiatives and presenting those findings in coherent recommendations
- Have a background in Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering or a relevant field
- Comfortable working on a globally distributed team (with occasional international travel)
- Relevant experience in a consumer tech/product company is a plus
