JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Organizing and planning school events for the entire academic year in order to put together set dates within the school calendar for these events, as well as setting clear deadlines and responsibilities of people involved.
  • Communicating all the relevant and needed details about clubs, events and/or activities to all stakeholders, staff and students in a timely manner through preset meetings, emails, flyers, etc.
  • Developing and planning the activity schedule for all grade levels within the school as well as ensuring that they are being distributed in a timely manner to all students and parents.
  • if and when necessary, contacting and following up with any contractors and/or vendors for the activity or event

     

  • gathering input at meetings to assess each activity and/or club and creating a plan of action to make necessary improvements
  • Based on the interests of the children and their parents, plan and prepare a list of paid and/or unpaid extracurricular activities (after school and/or on Saturdays).

     

  • Finding facilitators with the school director’s permission to oversee these scheduled activities from both inside and outside the building when necessary, as well as having meetings with them to go over expectations.

     

  • ensuring the prompt signing and return of waivers and authorization documents for school-related activities.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
  • Excellent problem-solving, planning, Time-Management and organizational skills
  • Good command of the English language
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Teamwork and multi-tasking skills
