JOB DESCRIPTION

• Clean and sanitize assigned guest rooms, including making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing amenities.
• Ensure that all surfaces, fixtures, and furniture in guest rooms are spotless and free from dust, stains, and debris.
• Clean and maintain cleanliness in public areas, such as hallways, lobbies, elevators, and common spaces.
• When necessary, replenish trash bags and empty trash cans.
• Restock guest amenities, towels, and linens in both public spaces and guest rooms.
• For a speedy resolution, notify the relevant department of any maintenance problems or damages in the public spaces or guest rooms.
• Maintain a hygienic and secure workplace by adhering to safety regulations and standard operating procedures.
• In a courteous and professional manner, swiftly respond to requests and questions from visitors.
• Keep storage spaces, linen closets, and cleaning carts extremely hygienic and well-organized.
• Work together with the housekeeping staff to guarantee effective operations and on-time assignment fulfillment.
• To protect the wellbeing of both visitors and staff, follow hotel policies and procedures, especially those pertaining to safety and security.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that involve standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently within designated timeframes.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards and practices.
