JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) regularly to ensure alignment with corporate safety policies, regulations, and customer requirements, resulting in a robust and cost-effective laundering value chain.
2. Conduct on-the-job training, orientation, and probation management to ensure staff are well-versed in SOPs and equipped for optimal performance.
3. Monitor team performance, address misconduct and poor performance, and leverage evaluations for accurate staff appraisals, contributing to improved team effectiveness.
4. Oversee and cultivate a group of Line Supervisors/Team Leaders to effectively oversee production duties, fulfill daily objectives, and improve worker satisfaction.
5. Keep an eye on and guarantee the efficiency of manufacturing activities, ensuring that procedures follow SOPs and that quality standards are upheld throughout the laundry process.
6. Help in creating and overseeing the production budget, making sure that labor resources are used wisely and that expenses are minimized while adhering to financial restrictions.
7. Locate and fix production process inefficiencies, then apply performance enhancements to reach cost optimization.
8. Examine maintenance and malfunction data as well as production reports to offer practical suggestions that improve procedures and solve problems.
9. Work together with the operations manager to handle non-conformance reports (NCRs) in a proactive manner in order to interact with consumers, address problems, and guarantee their pleasure.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Education Qualification:
a) Bachelor*s Degree in Operations Management or a related field
b) Certification in Laundry Operations related development courses (preferred)
Work Experience:
a) Years of Experience: Minimum of 5 years* experience in a supervisory role within the laundry or manufacturing industry.
