JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Grow the business with channel partners who distribute and resell Apple products in our markets in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Somalia and Sudan, driving towards a sales target.
  • Establish and lead close working relationship with the senior collaborators of distributors, retail partners & telco operators, to develop their sales efficiency and maximise the sales of Apple products to end-users.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of market trends, retail channel and develop comprehensive account plans that both align with our partners’ strategies and expand Apple’s footprint.
  • Spend time in-store, gain a thorough understanding of the market and the stores, and share your observations with management.
  • To create and oversee a trustworthy forecast and guarantee the methodical application of Apple sales forecasting procedures and tools, behave as a professional member of the business community.
  • Plan and coordinate quarterly/weekly sell-in and sell-through targets, as well as marketing, in-store, and sales initiatives. Regularly conduct performance and planning reviews with channel partners.
  • To achieve and surpass sales estimates and targets, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams on forecasting and exert influence over product supply.
  • Evaluate opportunities in pertinent channels and have the ability to create plans of action to deal with problems related to coverage or high-quality executions, or both.
  • Follow Apple’s recommendations for online and offline marketing campaigns.
