Safety Inspector Job in Dubai UAE

JOB DESCRIPTION

Implement Parsons HSE Policy, HSE Plan, and HSE legislation and other requirements, monitor HSE performance, and HSE targets, and suggest measures for further improvement.

Liaise with Safety Manager and Contractors for the improvement & implementation of Corporate HSE Management ethics.

Monitor contractors to ensure the implementation of applicable Safety measures and best practices.

Review the Hazard Analysis/Risk Assessment Plan for all major activities. Keep an eye on the efficacy of work safety plans, hazard control measures, and work method statements at the site.

Conduct an HSE visit and report to the Resident Engineer for prompt rectification.

Evaluate and monitor the Contractors’ Monthly HSE Inspections/Reports.

Conduct Monthly Safety Meetings. Establish goals to address outstanding issues.

Prepare and submit the minutes to concerned parties for follow-up. Evaluate Emergency Preparedness and Response.

Permit to Work System. Toolbox Talks. HSE meetings.

HSE statistics & records of the Contractors in accordance with Company requirements.

Review Incident/Accident Investigation Reports from contractors. Report & Communicate the Learning Points.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

B.Sc. or equivalent Degree in Environmental/loss prevention or any relevant Engineering disciplines from an accreditedUuniversity.

Minimum 7+ years of related work experience in the field of Health and Safety particularly in Infrastructure projects.

With recognized Health and Safety certifications, license or training in UAE (e.g. ISO, NEBOSH, First Aid, Fire Safety, etc).

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
