JOB DESCRIPTION
- Ensuring the Profitability of the Repair Estimate by adopting right negotiations with Insurance Companies / Customer.
- Ensuring the quality of the repair by obtaining approval for replacing Mandatory spare parts. Obtain written agreement of Insurance Surveyors on the estimate / supplementary estimates with date & time.
- Highlighting the Telephonic approvals on the estimate with all the details and signing by himself.
- Maximum conversion of estimates into Body repair business.
- preparing an estimate in accordance with the job description or specifications specified in the job guidance and verifying that the estimate is founded on the police report or the customer’s request.
- creating the repair estimate and any further estimates following a thorough inspection.
- When creating the estimate, adhere to the labor criteria. Coordinate the parts department’s pricing and availability.
- sending the estimate via fax or email to insurance companies, following up, negotiating and conducting a survey with a representative of the insurance company, and obtaining the required approval.
- updating the cost and emphasizing the agreed-upon labor, parts, and repair procedures.
- Before giving the estimate to the service advisor and submitting it to the costing clerk for filing, make sure the images are available.
- Follow up with the insurance company for any necessary approvals, surveys, inspections, and information to be sent to the consumer in the event of a delay.
REQUIREMENTS
- I.T.I/Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical
- 3 to 5 years’ experience as an Estimator / Denting Foreman in Automobile Dealership for Diploma Holders.
- Good computer skills
