JOB DESCRIPTION
- Create and cultivate a safety culture by identifying safety opportunities across your work area
- Ensure that customer orders are fulfilled per quality guidelines
- Throughout the shift, adjust labor allocation within the designated department in accordance with the most recent plan. Drive proactive steps as directed by the manager to remove obstacles impeding effective shift performance. Consistently update frontline management and operators with essential shift-related information.
- Work together with support services and/or other departments to handle shared problems or requirements in critical performance areas, such as process area preparedness, 5S, safety, and training.
- Assist clients with order fulfillment by working closely and frequently on departmental operations duties.
- Provide line operators with instruction and feedback on safe practices, high performance, and productivity.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of all operating procedures within the designated department.
REQUIREMENTS
– 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
– High school or equivalent
– Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
– Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
