Assistant Kitchen Manager Job in Dubai UAE

  • Maintaining Kitchen Inventory:
  • Oversee and manage the inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients.
  • Conduct weekly inventory checks and ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste and optimize resources.
  • Supervise Food Prep and Cooking:
  • Supervise kitchen staff in the preparation and cooking of meals.
  • Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards and in a timely manner.
  • Monitor the consistency and quality of dishes served.
  • Ensure Compliance with Food Safety Regulations:
  • Ensure all kitchen activities comply with food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Conduct regular checks to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of food safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Maintaining Health and Safety Standards:
  • Establish and uphold health and safety procedures in the kitchen.
  • Make certain that every kitchen appliance is serviced and operated securely.
  • Organize frequent kitchen staff training sessions and safety drills.
  • Organizing Changes:
  • Arrange shifts for the kitchen crew in accordance with business days, hours, and special events.
  • Make sure you have enough employees to handle your company’s needs.
  • Schedules should be modified as needed to account for events and peak times.
  • Sustaining Uncluttered Workspaces:
  • Make sure the areas used for food preparation and cleaning are maintained tidy and orderly.
  • Make sure all employees follow the restaurant’s preventive maintenance procedures.
  • Make sure the kitchen is kept as clean as possible by doing routine inspections.
  • Assessing and Correcting Kitchen Staff:
  • Keep an eye on and assess the kitchen staff’s work.
  • Give employees helpful criticism and direction to help them perform better.
  • When appropriate, take disciplinary action in accordance with corporate guidelines.


  • At least 3 to 4 years of experience in managing a reputable kitchen or restaurant.
  • Excellent knowledge of all Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) practices.
  • Strong data acumen for managing inventory and scheduling.
  • Energetic with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Valid Health Certificate is mandatory.
  • Additional Requirements:
  • Immediate Availability: Candidates must be able to join immediately or within 15 days.
  • Location: Must be willing and able to work in UAE.
