JOB DESCRIPTION

Ensure consistently high operating standards in every area of Housekeeping and Laundry, as identified d by the hotel brand standards

Monitor the appearance, standards, and performance of all Housekeeping and Laundry Team Members with an emphasis on training and team work

Provide excellent guest service

actively works to make rooms available and free for guest service while also supervising housekeeping on the floor

In charge of the Housekeeping department’s controls, including how often employees work, when master keys are released, how incidents are recorded, and how much clothing and linen are brought in and out.

In charge of checking the guest information in CRM every day and making sure that their needs and wants are met on time

For important events like weddings, funerals, births, etc., ask for flowers. Control does monthly Lost and Found and gifts, as well as embroidery for wedding and pampering linens.

Check the clothes and send them to be cleaned and/or fixed.

manages and coordinates the flow of people and papers within the department. Does laundry linens come out every day?

Every day, people who use the laundry service can get their clothes back.

Closes out the laundry bills every month and pays for them.

In case of holidays, days off, or breaks, this person fills in for (a) the laundry attendant.

REQUIREMENTS

Planning and organizing

Good oral and written communication

Previous experience in Laundry

Good interpersonal skills

Proficiency, at intermediate level, with computers and computer programs, including Microsoft Office

Committed to delivering a high level of customer service
