JOB DESCRIPTION
Handle all requests for late check-outs or room changes, as well as guest check-ins and check-outs. Pay securely and activate or reprint the room key. Verify rates correspond with market codes and record deviations. Check/modify guest billing. Inform the relevant employees while visitors are waiting for a room. Inform visitor of messages. Unambiguous changes in the computer system. To maintain track of room state and guest issues, collaborate with housekeeping. File any documents or paperwork related to guests. Run a switchboard for telephones. Run and review credit card authorization reports, contingency lists, and daily reports. Give information and routes to visitors. Respond to, document, and handle any calls, requests, queries, or grievances from visitors; follow up to make sure all requirements have been satisfied. Make travel arrangements for visitors and guests. At the start and end of each shift, count and secure the bank. Cash checks from visitors, handle all forms of payment, process vouchers, payouts, charges, and provide out change. Report any thefts to Security or Loss Prevention.
