Accounts Payable:

Invoice Processing:

  • Review and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness.
  • Code and process supplier invoices and payments into the accounting system (EXACT currently in use).
  • Every month, reconcile supplier statements and settle any differences.
  • Run supplier ageing reports to make that payments are made on time and the ledger is clean.
  • Retain a positive working relationship with suppliers and swiftly address any payment-related concerns.
  • Ensure that your records are precise and well-organized.

Employee Expenses:

  • Process employee expense claims, ensuring adherence to the company expense claims policy.
  • Reconcile credit card statements and resolve any discrepancies.

Accounts Receivable:


  • Generate and send out customer invoices in a timely manner.
  • Review and monitor sales orders, working closely with the sales and operations teams to resolve any discrepancies.

Debt Collection and Payments:

  • Keep track of and oversee client payments to guarantee prompt and correct reception.
  • Get in touch with clients to ensure prompt payments.
  • Make sure that cash receipts are timely and accurately posted.
  • Reconcile client accounts and quickly address any inconsistencies.
  • Investigate past-due payments.
  • General Administrative Duties:
  • As required, offer the finance department administrative support.
  • Participate in the yearly audit procedure.
  • As needed, assist with ad hoc tasks.


  • Degree (or equivalent) in Finance and Accounting.
  • Proven experience as a Finance Assistant (AP-AR) or in a similar role in an SME.


  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (EXACT currently in use).
  • Working knowledge of EXACT is advantageous.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
