JOB DESCRIPTION
- Ensures that pre-established requirements (e.g., which document numbering system will be used; how many and which signatures will be required for certain approvals, etc.) are satisfactorily met throughout the duration of the project.
- Maintains an established data distribution system and schedule for the assigned project based upon client, project, and supplier requirements. May revise system or schedule as required to ensure timely approvals and distribution.
- expedites the examination, signature, approval, and release of project papers created internally and by suppliers.
- creates and keeps up electronic indexes and files for engineering documents that are currently in use. Creates reports in physical copy or electronic format as requested by the project manager.
- identifies the needs from the customer, gathers the information needed, supervises the creation of covers, tabs, and other materials, gets the client’s approval, and makes sure that reproduction and assembly happen on schedule.
- prepares requisitions and engineering document transmittals.
- When necessary, attends project meetings to provide updates on the progress of requisitions and other documents, as well as to stay informed about the project.
- may arrange for relocations, workstation and file locations, phone placements, etc.
- executes additional duties related to this role when they become available.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor Degree or High School with a minimum 5 years of experience in typing Arabic and English languages as well as good in communication.
- Proficient keyboard skills and a working knowledge of MS Windows and related word processing, spreadsheet, and database software is required. Some assignments may require familiarity with EDMS (Electronic Document Management System) and DMCS (Document and Material Control System).
