JOB DESCRIPTION

a)   Exercise good judgment and maintain confidentiality in maintaining NMCRMC’s critical and sensitive information, records, and reports.
b)   Actively participate in the Medical Center’s on-going Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Programs and other In-Service Training Programs
c)   Act as a translator if needed
d)   Perform other duties and tasks assigned by the Head of Department scope of job.

DEPARTMENT AND SPECIALIZED RESPONSIBILITIIES
a)   Receives and responds to customers and guides them for the process to be followed.
e)   If new patient registration forms to be filled then complete process to follow like insurance original card to be checked for the expiry date, photo and name
f)   Help to fill out the consent form by their name, card number and date of medical service.
g)   If old patient, asks for his/her patient ID and call for his/her file in the MRD.
h)   Updates all customers with the required information or status and educate the general consent for treatment form.

i) Schedules patient appointments and takes doctor’s appointments.
j) Processes invoices (if given) and provides customers with pertinent information.
k) Aids in gathering reports from various departments.
1) Coordinates patient file liaisons with the MRD.
m) Work together with the departments of insurance, billing, admissions, and discharge.
n) Serves as a liaison between patients, clinical personnel, and doctors.
o) Operates the console, makes transfers, answers calls, and answers questions.
p) Keeps track of all client comments and the patient satisfaction survey form.
q) Preserves a friendly workplace to ensure client satisfaction.
r) Completes any additional tasks that the supervisor assigns based on the demands of the job.
s) Take part in the Medical Center’s quality program and, if selected, serve on quality committees.

 

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor degree diploma or equivalent
2 Years of experience in call center
