JOB DESCRIPTION
- Scan the items, register the sales, and process transactions using the required mode of payment.
- Ensure proper rates / denominations of currencies are communicated to the customers.
- When necessary, check the cash for security.
- Help the customer in a prompt and skilled way, always giving great customer service.
- Set up, check, and take care of the cash unit, and then turn it in every day.
- It is their full duty to keep the cash and other valuables on their designated counter safe.
- Make sure that the cash register always has bags, a card reader, and paper and pencils.
- Follow the steps for opening, closing, and balancing the cash.
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 0-2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Highly organized with strong multitasking skills.
- Adapt in a multicultural environment.
- Excellent listening abilities.
- High attention to detail
