JOB DESCRIPTION
- Transaction Handling: Process cash, cheque, and digital payments accurately and efficiently.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain and update transaction records in the financial system.
- Customer interaction: Make sure customers have a good experience by answering their questions about payments.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile cash registers every day and settle any inconsistencies.
- Receipt Management: Provide clients with receipts and keep accurate records for auditing purposes.
- Compliance: Adhere to company financial policies and regulatory standards during transactions.
- Reporting: Produce transaction reports for management review on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Support Functions: Provide administrative assistance to the financial team as needed.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional accounting or finance qualifications are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years as a cashier or in a similar financial role.
REQUIREMENTS
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using POS systems and accounting software.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in handling transactions and records.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Integrity: High level of honesty and professionalism in handling financial matters.
