JOB DESCRIPTION
Serve as a key resource for all recreation activities facilitated on the property. Provide information to guests about available recreation facilities, which may include pools, beach, entertainment zone/game-room, fitness center, and child activities center. Urge, enlist, register, and plan visitors’ participation in leisure activities. Encourage a pleasant and unwinding environment for visitors. Encourage adherence to the recreation facilities’ policies and procedures for the visitors’ and members’ safety and well-being. Keep an eye on activities at the recreation center and, in the event of an emergency, react appropriately in line with local operating procedures. When working in establishments that handle point-of-sale transactions, provide cashier services. Help with organizing group activities and events for private parties held at the recreation centers. Recognize potential circumstances in which visitors might not be able to engage in an activity safely and notify the manager or supervisor. Assist guests who are hurt until emergency medical assistance arrives. Maintain and clean the supplies, equipment, and recreational facilities.
REQUIREMENTS
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: No related work experience.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
License or Certification: CPR Certification
First Aid Certification
Recreation Equipment
Any certification or training required by local and state agencies.
