JOB DESCRIPTION
- Assist in coordinating and monitoring all hotel maintenance and repair work, ensuring compliance with safety, security, and operational standards.
- Maintain accurate records of scheduled maintenance procedures and participate actively in the hotel’s emergency response teams.
- Provide administrative support for the Engineering Department, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing project documentation.
- Facilitate effective communication between the engineering team and other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely project completion.
- Assist in managing inventory for tools, equipment, and supplies; ensure proper storage, tracking, and availability as needed.
- Assist the Director of Engineering in managing the budget, monitoring expenses, and helping to acquire supplies and services.
- To guarantee a secure environment for both visitors and employees, take part in putting hotel safety and security policies into place and maintaining them.
- Maintain a collaborative and effective work atmosphere by supporting team efforts by completing relevant tasks as required.
- Make sure the engineering staff fully comprehends and complies with all hotel regulations and procedures.
- Keep up with emerging technology and procedures that pertain to hotel engineering so that you can provide enhancements or efficiency.
- Maintain and update engineering-related data in LightStay on a regular basis to ensure adherence to sustainability regulations and precise project status reporting.
- Create and oversee regional reports and monthly cost contingency plans to precisely predict expenses and facilitate proactive financial management.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree or certification in Engineering, Facility Management, or related field preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems
- Strong organizational, coordination, and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Excellent administration and IT skills
- Committed to delivering a high level of customer service, both internally and externally
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
- Ability to work under pressure
