JOB DESCRIPTION

As a swimming pool technician, you would make sure that the water is clean and safe for guests at 24 hours. He should service and maintain swimming pools, spas and hot tubs at the hotel premises. Additionally, you would install and maintain the water filtration, purification, and cleaning equipment necessary to keep the pools in good condition. Additionally, keep the pool area tidy and clean while making sure that all safety guidelines are followed.

Swimming Pool Cleaner Duties and Responsibilities:

• Check the swimming pools water quality and chemical level twice day and 15 days complete test. Report has to be verify by technical foreman or chief engineer and to be submitted health & safety officer end of the day to upload DM website.
• Carry out deep cleaning of the pools as per scheduled and make sure pools tiles are in good conditions.
• Transports and stores hazardous chemicals.
• Picks up trash and cleans around swimming pools, restrooms and around suite.
• Diagnoses, repairs and maintains guest room / main swimming pools, water systems, filter systems, and to be keep clean and tidy always pool pump rooms your responsibility area.
• Maintain the proper chemical balance for the pool.
• maintains the pH and chlorine levels necessary for high-quality water in accordance with DM guidelines.
• Use the right chemicals and cleansers to keep the pool and all of its water features in good condition.
• Take care of the pool’s filters and pumps.
• Keep the pool area maintained, which includes cleaning the deck and performing other upkeep duties.
• In order to evaluate and fix malfunctioning machinery or equipment, promptly, amiably, and effectively respond to work orders pertaining to swimming pools.
• maintains and fixes mechanical and electrical devices.
• stores and transports dangerous chemicals.
• use chemicals like chlorine to perform routine water cleansing.
• monitoring the pH balance and water quality of swimming pools on a regular basis.
• checks and makes necessary adjustments to the chemical levels in the swimming pools and other water systems in the guest rooms.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of related work experience.
• 3 years hotel engineering work experience.
