JOB DESCRIPTION
- Analysis local market trends and competitor activity to identify new business leads
- Develop customer accounts and travel within the local area to drive business into the specific hotel/cluster and to increase market/customer share in all revenue streams
- Negotiate room rates/packages with clients
- Create and put into action innovative local marketing platforms, such as social media platforms.
- Create contracts for the hotel based on the terms of the existing market and pricing.
- Maintaining current business tactics while identifying possible avenues for growth
- Work together with other hotel departments to develop robust, all-inclusive sales strategies and a remarkable guest experience.
- Attend sales events if necessary
- Generate precise and prompt reports, including those on appointments, calls made, and business leads, to satisfy the demands of the senior management and the sales director.
- Respond to consumer inquiries promptly and expertly.
