JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Be the focal point with the clients and the owners.
2. Monitor day to day ship’s operation for smooth activities at sea and port without delays and accident.
3. Ensure certification of vessel are valid and to avoid failure due non-compliance.
4. To ensure vessels are meeting reporting requirements and proper documentation as per ISM, ISPS, OSHAS 18000 & ISO 14001. These require constant monitoring of Drill, ACT and Safety Meeting reports.
5. To achieve client’s satisfaction with no delays.
6. Provide ship with navigational data to prevent navigational hazard.
7. Make sure that all navigational charts and publications receive weekly, cumulative, and annual corrections in a timely way onboard.
8. To reduce NCN and OBS, make sure that ISM, ISPS, and ISO compliances are met using well-structured audit plans and effective preparation.
9. Updating modifications to the Safety Management System (SMS) and continuously improving them to create procedures that are adequate, accurate, accurate, and efficient. Provide and create innovative, useful ideas.
10. aid in determining the environmental implications and safety risk assessment for vessel operations.
11. Verify that all vessels are adhering to all relevant legal and regulatory obligations, and take appropriate remedial action where needed.
12. Senior Officers on Shipboard are briefed on Safety Management Systems, corporate regulations, vessel operations, and particular charterers’ requirements before they join the vessel.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Carry out the Internal Audits as per HSE plan and assigned by the Senior Marine Manager.
2. Conduct the vessels during mobilization and throughout the duration of the contract.
