JOB DESCRIPTION

Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning room, and issuing and activating room key. Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit. Process all check-outs including resolving any late and disputed charges

Respond to, log, and handle any calls, messages, requests, queries, or grievances from visitors. Work along with housekeeping to monitor the rooms’ preparedness for check-in. Inform visitors and guests on parking policies, and when necessary, send bellhops or valets to assist. Provide directions and details about the property and nearby points of interest to visitors. Run daily reports (number of arrivals, number of departures), note any unique requests, and ensure correctness of reports. Finish the computer system’s designated cashier and closing reports. Accept cash and traveler’s checks from visitors. Count the bank at the start and finish of your shift. Balance and deduct receipts in accordance with accounting guidelines.

Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests’ service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
