JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Based on business needs, source and procure a diverse range of training services, from one-time workshops to comprehensive strategic training programs.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of potential vendors’ capabilities, reputation, and alignment with the company’s values.
  • Negotiate contracts, manage relationships, and evaluate vendor performance to ensure the highest quality of training solutions.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new vendors, including due diligence and compliance checks.
  • Use vendor management best practices to maximize training effectiveness and cost-efficiency.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for the internal learning team and outside training providers, ensuring that their efforts are in line with the objectives and values of the company.
  • Keep an eye on vendor performance, report on it, and give regular comments to guarantee ongoing development.
  • Assist in resolving any problems or difficulties that have escalated with suppliers or training courses.
  • To continuously improve the learning experience, stay current on trends and improvements in the training sector. This includes keeping an accurate and up-to-date vendor directory.
  • Maintain continuous adherence to all company and regulatory regulations that control vendor engagement and training initiatives.
  • Lead efforts for ongoing improvement in the selection and handling of training providers.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in vendor management, procurement, or a similar role within a large, complex organization, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Experience working with Learning and Development vendors and/or projects.
