Store the received items from suppliers in earmarked areas.
• Assign non-stock items to the concern departments along with the invoice.
• After acknowledgement from end user submit the invoice to Finance Department.
• Record Retrieve (picking) of items for issuance against requests.

• Tell porters to pack bags and boxes for certain areas.
• Make a list of things that need to be rearranged.
• Send issue notes to the location that issued them.

• Make sure that the things delivered are acknowledged on the issue notes.
• Put away issue notes with receipts.
• Bring papers to or from the hospital.
• Help with counting the stock.
• The file stores related papers when they are needed.
• Help with many different tasks in the daily work of the Stores and Materials department.
