JOB DESCRIPTION
• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental Rosewood policies/service procedures/standards.
• Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment. Use equipment only as intended.
• Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
• Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
• Follow Spa opening procedures.
• Guest service; • Arrive at work punctually, in proper attire, and groomed in accordance with Rosewood Abu Dhabi policies.
· Help visitors and members in the following areas:
a. Information and bookings for eating, spa, and other services.
b. Shoe service (use the attendant in the men’s locker area).
Locker key management (c)
g. A fitness center and pool
f. Maintenance of amenities, sandals, robes, and towels.
• Help out with food and drink serving in the lounge as needed.
· Show up to all staff meetings on time.
• Follow up with the spa director regarding any remarks, issues, and recommendations made by employees, visitors, and Rosewood Abu Dhabi members.
• Describe and advertise all spa amenities, services, and events.
• Well-versed in scheduling, reservations, and spa services in all respects.
• Acquire and oversee all equipment and supplies for the locker room.
• Always work to make the processes better.
REQUIREMENTS
• Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience in a luxury spa environment, preferably within a luxury hotel. A background in fitness education and/or health related discipline is an asset.
• Education: High school diploma. Diploma or degree in a related field, or equivalent vocational training certificate, CPR certified.
