  • Ensure a safe workplace environment without risk to health.
  • Provide technical advice and coordination in line with the project OHS Plan, legislation and standards into workgroups as required/directed.
  • Establish a structured programmed of health & safety training throughout the Company.
  • Assist with the implementation and monitoring of project ERP (Emergency Response Plan).
  • Delivery of project safety induction and other identified safety training.
  • Make sure that all health and safety policies, procedures, guidelines, and rules are followed, and that they are reviewed, updated, and shared on a regular basis.
  • Make sure the company complies with all legal requirements on health, safety, and welfare at work, including those regarding mandatory reporting and training.
  • Make ensuring that risk assessments are completed and reviewed on a regular basis for all work equipment and operations.


  • Make certain that every mishap is recorded, looked into, and suggested fixes are put into action.
  • Make sure that risk assessments are completed, fire drills and alarms are appropriately reported, safety inspections are performed, and staff members are informed of their obligations.
  • Organize the creation of work systems, processes, and policies related to health and safety.
  • Make ensuring that training and health and safety records are kept complete and accurate.
  • Help oversee the schedule for


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, occupational safety and health, or related field
  • NEBOSH International General Certificate
  • Three (3) to five (5) years previous experience in comprehensive workplace safety and compliance programs
  • Experience in heavy equipment and machineries is an advantage.


  • Solid knowledge of the local legislation and guideline changes
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices
  • Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety
  • Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Diligent with great attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics
  • Good timekeeping and attendance record
  • Neat and tidy appearance
