- Ensure a safe workplace environment without risk to health.
- Provide technical advice and coordination in line with the project OHS Plan, legislation and standards into workgroups as required/directed.
- Establish a structured programmed of health & safety training throughout the Company.
- Assist with the implementation and monitoring of project ERP (Emergency Response Plan).
- Delivery of project safety induction and other identified safety training.
- Make sure that all health and safety policies, procedures, guidelines, and rules are followed, and that they are reviewed, updated, and shared on a regular basis.
- Make sure the company complies with all legal requirements on health, safety, and welfare at work, including those regarding mandatory reporting and training.
- Make ensuring that risk assessments are completed and reviewed on a regular basis for all work equipment and operations.
- Make certain that every mishap is recorded, looked into, and suggested fixes are put into action.
- Make sure that risk assessments are completed, fire drills and alarms are appropriately reported, safety inspections are performed, and staff members are informed of their obligations.
- Organize the creation of work systems, processes, and policies related to health and safety.
- Make ensuring that training and health and safety records are kept complete and accurate.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, occupational safety and health, or related field
- NEBOSH International General Certificate
- Three (3) to five (5) years previous experience in comprehensive workplace safety and compliance programs
- Experience in heavy equipment and machineries is an advantage.
- Solid knowledge of the local legislation and guideline changes
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
- Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices
- Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety
- Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Diligent with great attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics
- Good timekeeping and attendance record
- Neat and tidy appearance
