JOB DESCRIPTION

• Ensure that each guest receives outstanding guest service by providing a guest-friendly environment, including greeting and acknowledging every guest and by maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest service
• Recruit, train, develop, and communicate with all team members and ensure they are knowledgeable on job expectations, as well as assess performance on a regular basis, to include annual performance reviews
• Implement and maintain guest service standards and/or brand specifications and grows business within the restaurant
• Responsible for handling guest complaints/comments, and using them for making improvements
• Maintain all merchandising standards, display presentations and signing standards and monitors inventory levels
• Set and assign daily objectives, assignments, and/or provide direct reporting (supervisors, assistant managers) with the necessary guidance.

   

• Encourage team members to participate in promotional activities and the launch of new products; assist in directing the items’ execution and give team members the necessary training.

   

• Make good use of your skills to handle finances, staff, facilities, marketing, food preparation and quality, and general business operations.

   

• Inform team members about corporate policies in a timely and efficient manner both orally and in writing.

   

• Use the “Menu Engineering Tool” and the SOP to complete the quarterly menu engineering.

   

• Develop the restaurant’s brand strategy, identity, uniqueness, and innovation in collaboration with the brand partner.

   

• Organize special events, chef visits, marketing strategies, and annual promotional activities.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role in a luxury restaurant with direct P&L responsibilities, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Full Service international restaurant experience preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and be able to interface effectively with all levels of management.
• Ability to effectively influence through knowledge, relationship management, and trust.
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Proven ability to effectively manage conflict and ensure successful outcomes; work under pressure and deal with high stress situations while exercising sound judgment and decision making.
