JOB DESCRIPTION
- Deliver high-quality customer service to all visitors and staff, representing the Academy in a professional manner
- Greet visitors in a friendly and helpful manner
- Have a strong knowledge of the key information about the Academy
- Offer guidance and assistance to parents through the student registration and admission process during the initial enquiry stage
- Assist with school tours when necessary
- Provide general clerical/administrative support e.g., updating attendance registers
- Photocopying, filing, faxing, completing standard forms, responding to routine correspondence
- Perform word processing as well as other IT-related jobs, such as database, Excel, and online research.
- Create lists, data, and information as needed, such as class lists.
- Divide and organize mail
- When necessary, show up to and take part in pertinent meetings.
- Incoming calls should be handled politely and professionally, adhering to our normal telephone protocol and etiquette.
- Make sure the reception area has all the required materials and stationery (such as pens, forms, and brochures), and that it is neat and attractive.
- Give clear, concise information both in person and over the phone or email.
- Help the admissions team answer incoming and outgoing calls.
- Enter inquiries about admissions in the school’s MIS database.
- Make calendar updates and plan school visits.
- Make travel arrangements for guests as needed.
- Give precise and thorough details about the schools, such as the curriculum, degree of instruction, and cost of tuition.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Certificate/Diploma or bachelor’s degree certificate
- 2 years’ experience in a receptionist or customer-facing role in the region
- Experience in a school or education setting is preferred
REQUIREMENTS
- Fluent standard of English communication skills, written and oral.

- Attention to detail with diligent follow up, and able to execute in a timely manner
- Effective communicator at different levels, both orally and in writing.
- Strong interpersonal skills to aid in daily contact with customers in a diverse multi-cultural environment
- Computer literate, including all social media platforms.
- Organizational ability, of self and others with impeccable office management skills
- Arabic speaking, reading and writing is preferable
