JOB DESCRIPTION

• Implement the plan of DMI’s network infrastructure and ensure that the network architecture aligns with business goals and meets performance requirements.
• Install and configure network hardware.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as updating software, applying patches, and ensuring that the network infrastructure is up to date.
• Put strong security measures in place to guard DMI’s networks against hacker attacks, illegal access, and data breaches.

   

• As soon as possible, identify and fix complicated network problems to minimize the impact on company operations.
• Create thorough documentation that details all network setups, modifications, and procedures.

   

• Make documentation for standard operating procedures and troubleshooting manuals.

   

• Enhance network performance by keeping an eye on and analyzing network traffic, pinpointing problem areas, and putting fixes in place to increase overall effectiveness.

   

• Participate in the assessment and deployment of novel network technologies that have the potential to enhance DMI’s overall performance, security, and efficiency.

   

• Participate in capacity planning to help predict and meet changing DMI network needs.

   

• Participate in the creation of network rules and processes to guarantee adherence to internal standards and laws.

   

• Communicate with suppliers of network equipment and service providers, maintain contacts, and keep yourself updated.

REQUIREMENTS

• Contribute to developing and implementing disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime and data loss.
• Coordinate network-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals.
• Perform any other tasks assigned officially by line manager.
